Bath Rugby Statement on Royal Courts of Justice Decision

Bath Rugby is delighted that the Recreation Ground Trust's appeal to the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber) has been allowed. The Recreation Ground Trust's appeal related to a previous judgement made by the Charity Tribunal (Lower), in March 2014, which limited the Trustees' powers, including their ability to lease extra land to the Club beyond what is currently used for the East Stand.
