Bath Rugby players visited The Barbara Russell Children’s Unit at Frenchay Hospital last Thursday.  Ben Skirving and Scott Hobson spent time with many of the children in beds on the ward as well as playing a game of mini rugby with some of those recovering. Scott said: “It's been great to see everyone so positive despite the reality that they will more than likely spend Christmas in Hospital.”The players are becoming regular visitors to the Unit, having visited several times this last year.  They look forward to meeting the children and to spreading a bit of cheer.  Earlier in the year Andy Beattie went along and said:  ‘We had a really lovely afternoon.  It is always a humbling experience, but it seems like the kids seem to be doing fantastically well, so really good.  It was brilliant’.
