Attended by players, coaches, and shirt sponsors, over 130 people took part in the event, which was held at Graze in Bath.

The evening began with a reception, where guests were treated to Pol Roger Champagne and a selection of handmade canapés.

Following introductions by Business Development Director, Matt Powell, Bath Rugby Captain Guy Mercer hosted a Captain’s Pub Quiz which challenged guests’ expertise on a number of topics, including Bath Rugby Trivia.

A live caption competition saw guests face off in an attempt to come up with the most humorous description for two game images, after which shirt sponsors were given signed pictures of their sponsored player whilst enjoying Chase Vodka and Gin, as well as wine which was provided by Great Western Wine.

A Q&A panel featuring Kahn Fotuali’i, Kane Palma Newport and Tabai Matson allowed attendees to find out more about the players, before the results of the pub quiz were announced.

Congratulations were in order for the winning quiz team led by Jeff Williams, which also included Milsted Langdon, Ian Lloyd and Dan Kenyon.
