Bath Rugby Foundation’s Ultimate Cornish Gig Row Challenge Raises Over £15,000

A group of largely novice rowers from Bath and Bristol have successfully completed the Bath Rugby Foundation's Ultimate Cornish Gig Row Challenge, to row from Land's End to the Isles of Scilly in Cornish Gigs. The notoriously difficult 28 mile challenge, which was sponsored by the Blackberry Z10 handset, had been postponed previously due to adverse weather conditions.  However, on this occasion and with the weather and tides on their side, the group were delighted to finish the row in just over six hours, raising an incredible £15,000 for the Bath Rugby Foundation.
