Bath Rugby confirm Heathcote departure

Fly-half Tom Heathcote will join Edinburgh Rugby next season, Bath Rugby can today confirm. The Scottish international had one more year to run on his contract with Bath, but a release has been agreed to allow him to progress his career and international aspirations. A highly promising young player, Inverness-born Heathcote came through the Bath Rugby Academy to make over 50 appearances in the Blue, Black and White, scoring over 370 points in that time. Commenting on his decision, the 22 year old said: “This was a really hard decision for me to make – I’ve played all my senior rugby at Bath and have had some fantastic experiences here.
