He built businesses from the ground up and used them as a force for good. He campaigned for causes close to his heart, from building trade, sport and cultural links at a grassroots level in Palestine and Jerusalem to setting up The Real Friends of the Rec here in Bath to help get us one step closer to building a new stadium at the Rec.

He was instrumental in bringing Teacher's on as a club sponsor back in the 1990s, a deal that enabled us to build the South Stand we see today. He was also one of the founding inventors of Reflink - the technology which allows supporters to listen in on discussions held over the referee's mic.

Peter was irreverent, he liked to challenge the status quo, he was also fiercely loyal and stood up for the people and causes he believed mattered.

It’s hard to believe that he called himself the 'nearly man'. He believed that he came so close to being so many things but never quite made it. In reality, to us, and all he knew, he was the 'everything man'.

Peter, we’ve missed you since the moment you left us and you will never be forgotten.
