The inaugural West Country Challenge Cup campaign, contested between Bath, Exeter Chiefs and Gloucester, is a true battle for the West. It begins with a trip to the Memorial Ground to face the Cherry and Whites on Saturday 12th September, and ends with a visit from Exeter Chiefs to the Recreation Ground on Saturday 10th October.

The Aviva Premiership kicks off a week later, with the Club's opening and closing matches of the regular Premiership season both taking place at the Rec against our great rivals Exeter (Saturday 17th October) and Leicester Tigers (Saturday 7th May). A Boxing Day clash will take place on Saturday 26th December against the newly-promoted Worcester Warriors, who return to the Rec for the first time since April 2014.

Due to the way Premiership fixtures have been structured, our Big Match at Twickenham will unfortunately no longer take place this season. It was due to be played against Saracens in Round 19, but with the London side hosting their own Big Match a fortnight later in Wembley, the decision has been taken to postpone the fixture until a future season.

The first round of the European Rugby Champions Cup will begin in mid-November (date tbc). Bath have been drawn in Pool 5, regarded as one of the most competitive pools the competition has seen in its 20-year existence. Each team in the pool – which also features Leinster, Toulon and Wasps – are past European winners.

"We thought last season was eventful for us, but the bar has been raised for 2015/16," said Head Coach Mike Ford. "I'm especially pleased that, in our 150th year, we'll be welcoming the best teams in Europe to the Rec. It's going to be a special year for the supporters and, as a team, we have high hopes for the season ahead."
