Congratulations to the latest Bath Rugby player to be named in a World Cup squad - new signing, Anthony Perenise, who will be running out for Samoa throughout the tournament.
The Samoan's have named a strong squad, with a host of names familiar to British rugby fans included.Alesana Tuilagi is named once again, and will pose a huge threat with his size and pace. He is of course one of five brothers to have played international rugby - all for Samoa, bar the youngest Manu who is in England's RWC 2011 squad.
Centre's Seilala Mapusua and Eliota Sapolu Fuimaono offer both a constant threat in attack, and the big hits when needed in defence. And whilst the Samoan's may have a reputation for their hard-hitting, direct style of play, one of their key players could well be one of the smallest, in winger David Lemi.
Lock Daniel Leo and prop Census Johnston are both more than capable of holding their own against the likes of the Wales and South African squads, both of whom Samoa will meet in their group matches.
Forwards: Ole Avei, Maurie Faasavalu, Census Johnston, Filipo Lavea Levi, Daniel Leo, Logovi'i Mulipola, Ti'i Paulo, Anthony Perenise, Manaia Salavea, Mahonri Schwalger, George Stowers, Sakaria Taulafo, Joe Tekori, Kane Thompson, Ofisa Treviranus, Taiasina Tuifua.
