Bath prop Caryl Thomas will fulfil a lifelong ambition in August when she has the opportunity to play for Wales in the Women's Rugby World Cup which is held at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford from August 20th to September 5th this year.
Caryl has been a stand-out performer for Bath Rugby Ladies for a number of seasons and is looking forward to a huge challenge as the Welsh team have been included in what has been nicknamed the 'group of death,' with southern hemisphere giants New Zealand, Australia and South Africa all contesting for a place in the semi finals.
Thomas, who heads up the successful Inclusion project for the Bath Rugby Community Foundation, says, "I can't wait to get the chance to play against some of the best players in the world. It is a very exciting time and it will be an honour to wear the red shirt again."
