Following a considerable period of research, learning and discovery as to both the needs and the opportunities for the women and girls’ game, the club has outlined a road map for its growth, from grassroots to elite, culminating in an application to the Allianz Premier 15s with the formation of a new women’s team in partnership with Bath Rugby Ladies (part of Bath RFC).

Bath Rugby has announced the formation of Bath Rugby Women's Sevens - a new elite team set to compete at top-flight Sevens tournaments this summer.

100+ girls are regularly attending our participation hubs, enjoying training sessions led by Bath Rugby and county coaches. Maria Crowfoot has joined Bath Rugby as the Club's first Rugby Development Lead focused on the Women and Girls' game. Bath Rugby and Bath College have formed an exciting new partnership to assist in the development of promising young female rugby players in the Bath Rugby catchment area.
The Level 3 BTEC Extended National Diploma in Sport, Coaching and Development aims to provide an outstanding rugby and academic development programme. The role of which is to identify and develop talented young rugby players and support them to achieve their potential, both on and off the pitch.
