Joey Hayes

First Team Physiotherapist

Joey qualified from the Manchester School of Physiotherapy in 2003 and began working for St Helens Rugby League club in 2005. He progressed to Head Physiotherapist and took the squad to Grand Finals in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, before winning it in 2014. He was also the Head Physio for the England Knights Rugby League team for 4 years. He is currently in the final phase of his MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath.

Joey previously played professional Rugby League for St Helens and was part of the squad that won the first Super League title in 1996. He is an internationally capped GB player and also played for Salford and Oldham.
