Messer joined Bath Rugby in September 2017 as Academy Pathway Coach after spending time coaching at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Messer was a key cog in the partnership with the University of Bath, as the team finished third in the BUCS Super League – the University’s highest ever finish.
