Nahum Merigan

Position: No 8
Date of birth: 25 March 2001
Birthplace: Taunton
Height: 190cm (6' 3")
Weight: 114kg (17st 13lb)

Merigan is hugely promising back row player who plays primarily at No.8. and who has represented England U20s alongside a number of fellow Bath Academy players this season.

Merigan consistently provides go forward. He generates momentum for the team through his ball carrying, his ability to beat defenders and unpick the defence. His attacking threat is significant due to the marriage between size, strength and skill that he employs with ball in hand.

Merigan's aggression in contact allied with intelligence in his approach to ball carries creates a range of offload opportunities, which can feed the attack and challenge opposition defences. He has significantly grown his defensive game and has put in some big performances in on the European stage this season.
