Tom Dunn made the transition from Academy to first team in 2015.

In the 2012/13 season, Tom Dunn's notable performances at loosehead prop in the A League for Bath United convinced 1st XV forwards coach Neal Hatley that the Chippenham product had what it takes – to play at hooker.

Dunn answered an injury crisis in that position as a substitute in the 67-11 defeat of Calvisano, coming off the bench to make his first appearance in the senior squad. Studying at the University of Bath at the time, he turned out for England Students for the first time last season in a narrow 22-18 loss to France Universities in Richmond – only a month after making his first start for Bath Rugby's senior squad.

As a former prop, Dunn brings his effective scrummaging and ball-carrying to play in his role at hooker.
