Priestland is an integral part of the game Bath Rugby want to play and acts as an ambassador to the younger players coming through the Player pathway at the Club.

The Welsh international fly-half joined Bath Rugby in 2015 from Scarlets and has since developed his game management, making 93 caps for the Club to date and having 49 in the European competitions.

The fly-half is a great game manager and knows what parts of the pitch to put the ball in to apply pressure to the opposition. An assured goal kicker, the number 10 is also relentless in defence and holds the element of surprise when going forward.

 

Rhys Priestland to leave Bath Rugby for Cardiff Blues at end of season

Bath Rugby can confirm Rhys Priestland is set to leave the Club at the end of the 2020/21 Gallagher Premiership season to join Guinness Pro14 side Cardiff Blues. The fly-half joined the Blue, Black and White in 2015 and has gone onto make 109 appearances for the Club. Read more
