Kieran Verden is one of many Bath Rugby players to have risen through Beechen Cliff pathway into the Senior Academy before graduating to the Senior Squad.
An imposing prop with a strong set piece, he was a dominant force in 2016/17 season captaining the Bath Rugby Academy throughout the year and his performances throughout the season saw him rewarded with a place in the England U18 squad for their summer tour of South Africa.
His Premiership debut against Worcester Warriors at the backend of the 2019/20 season before joining the Warriors on a short loan the following term with the club feeling it was the best rugby opportunity for him to get some game time under his belt.
He did just that experiencing European rugby for the first time, earning minutes in the Challenge Cup against Pau and Ospreys before returning to the Rec with a new experience of working in a different environment with a different group of players.
Verden has added to his Premiership appearances upon his return, adding competition to the tighthead position.
