Redpath joins the strong Bath contingent of young English players within its back-division which includes the likes of Josh Bayliss and Miles Reid and current and former England U20 players; Olly Fox, Tom de Glanville, Gabe Hamer-Webb and Max Ojomoh.
The 6’2 centre brings Hooper more dimensions to the Bath midfield, with the additional options of being able to play at 10 or 15. His wide skillset will be a great addition to the squad, both in the short-term and long-term as Bath continue to develop its squad.
It is unusual to have the opportunity to bring in somebody of Redpath’s quality at this stage of their development and the Club is excited to see him flourish.
In February 2021, Redpath became a Scottish international, after being called up to the Scottish national squad for the 2021 Six Nations and earned his debut in the opening round against England at Twickenham.
