Bath Rugby is pleased to confirm that Jeff Williams has extended his current contract with the Club.
The extension sees the former England 7s winger staying with the Club until the end of this season.
Currently rehabilitating from a knee ligament injury sustained last season, Williams is a quick, intelligent back, who quickly became a supporters’ favourite at the Rec, scoring seven tries in 20 appearances.
Commenting on the news, Williams said: “I’m really looking forward to getting back on the pitch and doing what I can to help the second half of the season go the way we want. It’s been a long road back from my injury, and I’m really thankful to the Club for supporting me through it, and to the physios and strength and conditioning coaches for getting me back to fitness.”
Todd Blackadder, Director of Rugby, added: “Jeff is a fantastic character to have in the squad. He’s supported the squad in whatever way he can whilst he’s been injured, as well as helping out coaching some of the young Academy backs, and that positivity – as well as his ability on a rugby field that we’ll see soon – is a really useful asset to us.”
