Bath Rugby full-back Tom de Glanville isn’t looking back as the side prepare for the Round 18 match against Harlequins at Twickenham Stoop on Saturday (kick-off BT Sport 1 and Channel 5).
He said: “We have ahead a big week of preparation leading into the match against Harlequins, we know there are going to be supporters there, which is added excitement for the boys.
“After a tough loss against Wasps last week, the boys have gotten back on the horse and are really focused on this weekend.”
Following the loss against Wasps last time out, de Glanville insists that the Blue, Black and White are focused on the next game with the velocity of matches in the Gallagher Premiership.
“It is always tough after a loss. The positive of games being so close together at the moment is that you don’t really have time to dwell on the last result, you just have to look at the next game straight away so we have moved past it now and we’re eager to put it right."
Having already played Harlequins on three occasions this season, twice in the Heineken Champions Cup Pool stages and once at the Rec in the Gallagher Premiership, Bath Rugby will be looking to level the scores going into the match on Saturday.
He said: “They have some serious players throughout the board, so we need to be wary of them. We also need to focus on us, we know what we did wrong in previous games against them so it’s about hopefully fixing them and coming away with a result.
“We have looked at things across the board. It’s about not going away from the things we know we’re good at. We’ve tidied a few things up and made sure that come the game on Saturday we are firing on all cylinders.
“It will be down to how we manage the backfield space. We’ll be looking to move them around and pin them back. They will have to work for every inch that they get out of their half.”
