Academy Programme

The role of the Bath Rugby Academy is to identify and develop talented young athletes from age 13 to 23 and engage them in a performance development programme.

Players join the Academy through a variety of routes, with the Developing Player Programme serving as the entry point to the talent pathway for Bath Rugby.

Since February 2002 and the introduction of the RFU's Regional Academy programme, Bath Rugby Academy has developed a number of high quality young players from our designated region.

Academy Vision

The Academy is the foundation of Bath Rugby, living and working to the Club's values. Developing a supportive and challenging environment through innovative delivery, which allows the athlete to achieve their potential.
