Beno Obano earned an Academy contract at Bath Rugby after being invited to train with the squad in 2014.
He impressed enough to progress through the Senior Academy into the Senior Squad, earning his Premiership debut in 2015, and his power and agility with ball in hand add to the repertoire of threats within the forward pack.
A skilful loosehead prop with physicality in abundance, Obano has provided a superb platform at the set-piece for Bath over the past few seasons and has earned international recognition, winning his first England cap against Scotland in 2021 Six Nations.
Obano is not just a creative at scrum time, but a visionary off the field too. The Londoner directed and produced a documentary called Everybody's Game in 2020 and has plans for future projects alongside his rugby commitments.
