Two Bath Rugby Community coaches, two primary school classes and their teacher, concocted a brilliant afternoon of fun.  No-one wanted to go out into the rain, but once they were in the playing fields the sun came out, and it was thumbs up!Farmborough Primary School children were enjoying their third week of a five week programme called School of Tag.  When I arrived, the girls and boys from years three and four, including Miss Roberts their teacher, were running around playing tag.  Foundation Manager, Jimmy Deane organised the boys and the girls into two separate teams - it was terrific to see them running about and shouting at the tops of their voices with the sheer determination to win. Yes, it was wet here today (9th October), which must have brought the sharks and fishes out onto the playing fields at the primary school.  The sharks and fishes were, of course, in the form of Year Five girls and boys who were enjoying taking part in a game delivered under Bath Rugby’s programme, School of Tag. All Hallows Preparatory School, Shepton Mallet hosted a Bath Rugby Premiership Rugby Academy Camp for 40 children aged between 6 years – 13 years as part of their summer camp activities. Read more 

 Last week, the Bath Rugby Community Department delivered a third year of summer camps at Marlborough College. Read more

On 10th July, the Bath Rugby Community Team hosted a tag rugby festival for more than 130 local school children in celebration of Tackling Numbers, a programme helping to teach basic mathematics to thousands of school children across England. Read more 

Bath Rugby Community coaches Steve Middleton and John Harrison paid a visit to St Johns RC Primary School recently, and took a long a rather special treat – an official Olympic Torch. Read more 

Danny Grewcock, Bath Rugby Academy Director, teamed up with Premiership Rugby sponsors Aviva recently and visited pupils at Horrington Primary as part of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme. Read more 

Bath Rugby Community Coach, Caryl Thomas, and her fellow representatives of Premiership Rugby have returned from the United States of America where they played a key role in the development and promotion of rugby in the country in a visit that was deemed a great success. Read more
