Priestland named on Wales bench for Six Nations opener

Bath Rugby fly-half Rhys Priestland has been named on the bench for Wales’s RBS 6 Nations match against reigning champions Ireland in Dublin on Sunday. 

Meanwhile, lock Luke Charteris and number eight Toby Faletau, who move to the Rec next season, both start in the Welsh pack. 

“We are excited by the make-up of the squad, it’s very experienced along with one eye looking to the future,” said Wales Head Coach Warren Gatland.
