Bath Rugby have been using Twitter since 2009, but in the last 6 months our number of followers has increased by 65%, to 11,682, which just goes to show that Social Media is quickly becoming one of the best ways for us to communicate with our supporters.
This increase has been reflected on a global scale to the extent that Social Media now has its own Awards Ceremony, the Shorty Awards. The Shorty Awards are a worldwide effort to engage hundreds of thousands of Twitter users to identify the best people and organizations on social media, culminating in a blockbuster ceremony in New York City.
Bath Rugby's official Twitter feed, @bathrugby, is nominated in the best twitter account for Sports Teams category.
