Bath United side to face UK Armed Forces

9 November 2015

Bath United have named their side for tonight's Remembrance Rugby match against UK Armed Forces at the Rec (kick-off 19.30).

After making a 25-minute appearance against London Irish on Saturday, loosehead prop Nathan Catt continues his comeback tonight, starting in the front row with hooker Tom Dunn and tighthead prop Kane Palma-Newport.

Charlie Ewels captains United from an engine room also featuring Bath University student Pat Jenkinson. Sydney Blackmore is named at blindside flanker, with Max Northcote-Green (another replacement from Saturday's victory at the Madejski Stadium) at openside and Zach Mercer at number eight.

Scrum-half Jonathan Evans, who joined the Club this season from Newport Gwent Dragons, starts alongside fly-half Rory Jennings. Brett Herron is at inside centre, with Max Clark lining up outside him in the number 13 jersey.

New Academy signing Liam Forsyth, who joined from Wigan Warriors U19 last month, makes his first appearance in Club colours on the left wing. Jeff Williams, who made his Premiership Rugby debut from the bench against London Irish, is on the right wing, with speedster Darren Atkins at fullback.

There will be no tickets issued for this match – instead a suggested £5.00 donation will be asked for at the gates. All the proceeds from this special commemorative game will go to the Royal British Legion.
