Bath Rugby have named their side to travel to Kingston Park tomorrow night to face Newcastle Falcons in the third round of the Premiership Rugby Cup. (kick-off 19:45)
Will Vaughan and Max Lahiff line up either side of Michael van Vuuren in the front row at loosehead and tighthead respectively. Will Britton comes in at second-row with Levi Douglas starting alongside him, forming an exciting young second-row partnership.
Miles Reid returns to action at blindside flanker, alongside Josh Bainbridge. Josh joins for the week from Yorkshire Carnegie, the 22-year old-is an experienced Championship player, he represented England U20’s in their successful 2015/16 world cup campaign. Josh will return to Yorkshire Carnegie following the Newcastle game. Jack Davies will make his second first team start, coming in at number eight.
Max Green and Alex Davies form the half-back pairing, with Davies captaining the side from fly-half. Ruaridh McConnochie continues on the left wing, with Levi Davis starting opposite him on the right wing.
Max Clark is at inside centre this week, forming a midfield pairing with Jack Wilson, who scored a brace of tries last weekend against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park. Tom Homer starts at full-back to complete the back-line.
