Bath Rugby begin the New Year with a trip to old rivals Leicester Tigers in Round 5 of the Gallagher Premiership on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 15:00, Live on BT Sport 2).
Following two cancelled fixtures in recent weeks for the Blue, Black and White from outbreaks of COVID-19 – Bath Rugby make three changes to the side that last faced Scarlets in the Heineken Champions Cup at the Rec.
Semesa Rokoduguni comes in on the wing for Joe Cokanasiga and we see the return of Rhys Priestland in the number 10 jersey, who replaces Josh Matavesi, after suffering from concussion against Worcester Warriors back in Round 3.
After a good performance against Scarlets off the bench, Zach Mercer returns to the starting XV pushing Taulupe Faletau to blindside who will make his 50th appearance for the Blue, Black and White in what is his first Premiership appearance since returning from International duty. Also returning to the Premiership scene since their Autumn Nations Cup triumph is Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Will Stuart and Sam Underhill.
