All Premiership competitions suspended following Government advice on mass gatherings

All Premiership competitions have today been suspended for five weeks as the UK continues to adopt measures to delay the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

With all matches affected by this situation due to be rescheduled, matchday tickets and season tickets will be valid for the rearranged game. We are working to ensure there is a robust process in place to handle ticket enquiries for the affected matches.

At this stage please do not contact the ticket office as our small team are working hard to ensure all these processes are in place.


With the Government’s continuing responses to prevent further spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and advice for people to work from home wherever possible, we will close our Argyle Street Bath Rugby Shop and Pulteney Bridge Ticket Office from Thursday 19 March 2020 until further notice.

Following Premiership Rugby’s decision to suspend the Gallagher Premiership and all secondary competitions for five weeks, we have also decided to remove all Bath Rugby fixtures from sale until the remainder of the 2019/20 season schedule is confirmed.

Our online shop is still open for business and you can visit the Bath Rugby Online Shop to order or call 01225 325200 (opt 4) with any queries.

Similarly, our ticket hotline on 01225 536900 will be open as normal for enquiries 9:15-17:15 Monday-Friday.

We will update you via our website and social media when the Ticket Office and Shop re-open.

In the meantime, please keep up-to-date on UK Government, Public Health England and NHS communications and follow the advice and guidelines closely.

At this time, we ask that you please do not call the ticket office as our small team is at full capacity handling the implications of Premiership Rugby's postponement of matches. We will email you directly in the coming days to communicate regarding ticketing, The Clash and season ticket renewals.

Our CEO Tarquin McDonald has this message for all our supporters: 

“As a Club we are committed to the safety of our supporters, our players and our staff. In light of this unprecedented situation a number of our fixtures will now be postponed.

“We are continuing to put measures in place to deal with ongoing developments and are in frequent dialogue with Premiership Rugby and our fellow Clubs. We will continue to monitor the situation with the UK Government, Public Health England and the NHS and respond accordingly.

“Our priority continues to be to protect public health and support in delaying the spread of COVID-19. We want to ensure our city, supporters, players and staff stay safe.

“You will undoubtedly have concerns for yourselves, friends and families at this uncertain time, and we ask you all to put your health and that of others first, following the advice provided by NHS and Public Health England and continue to be vigilant to the ever-changing situation. In the meantime please be patient with us as we confirm further information from Premiership Rugby and will continue to keep you informed.”
