The Bath Rugby skills clinics are lead by members of Bath Rugby's first team supported by Bath Rugby’s Community department. The clinics are designed to delve into specific rugby skills sets and explore how these can be applied in the game. The players will be on hand to share some of their own methods and techniques so participants to take away the tools to develop their skills in the game.
All clinics are open to boys aged U13s - U18s.
Bath Rugby’s will once again open its doors to participants for our Autumn Skills Clinic at the Club’s training ground in Farleigh Hungerford on Saturday 1st December.
Not only is this an exclusive opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the Bath first team, but you will also have the opportunity to meet some of the players, who will be hand to pass on their world-class knowledge.
The skills clinic will run from 09.30-15:00 and you’ll even get to eat where the first team have their lunch during their regular training week.
Sessions will provide participants the opportunity to learn about some of the most essential skills and techniques needed in rugby. Spilt into two separate areas, forwards and backs, the sessions will focus on elements such as kicking, tackling, the breakdown, set piece, catch and pass and game understanding. The day will also include workshops on strength and conditioning, nutrition and injury prevention.
