Over the course of the 2019/20 season, Bath Rugby's Community team will be taking players back to their Grassroots Clubs to delve into stories of their rugby journey and how they got involved in the game.
Bath Rugby would like to recognise the role local grassroots clubs have played in creating our professional athletes and championing the work volunteers carry out across our catchment area.
The aim of this series is to inspire more children to join their local rugby clubs and fall in love with the game, just as our players have done at the beginning of their professional careers. Rugby union's a game for everyone.
The series will see Freddie Burns, Charlie Ewels, Tom Dunn, Chris Cook and Tom de Glanville, Tom Ellis and Max Clark all return to the Clubs where their rugby journeys all started.
Rugby’s values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship are what makes the game special for those who enjoy the environment and culture they create.
