Girls' Participation Hub

Our upcoming Girl's Participation Hubs:

  • Chew Valley Rugby Club - Sunday 29th May, 10:30AM

Following our first few hubs at Bath RFC, Yeovil RFC and Chard RFC respectively, we are delighted to announce our final Girls Participation Hub for this season is coming to Chew Valley Rugby Club!

In partnership with Avon Protection, these hubs are helping to drive participation numbers in the Bath Rugby region and are open to any and all abilities. As our announcement in May highlights, we have pledged our commitment to the women and girls game in our region through four objectives: PLAY, SUSTAIN, PERFORM and PROMOTE. Our participation hubs are helping to achieve our PLAY objective through doubling participation in our region. You can learn more about Bath Rugby's objective's for the Women & Girl's game here.

These sessions are led by Bath Rugby development coaches and will focus on a principle of play as well as a technical contact session, before finishing on a full contact game.

We are also pleased to include a coach CPD workshop which, this month will focus on “key considerations for coaching women and girls”, this is aimed to give practical advice to coaches on things such as the menstrual cycle and its impact on players.

The schedule for these sessions will be as follows:
