The Bath Rugby Community team are back with another Junior Elite Camp this half term.
The Junior Elite Camp for boys under 13 and under 16 is being held at Taunton RFC on Wednesday 1st June, with the camp mirroring the way in which the Bath Rugby first team trains. This truly is an opportunity for any budding young rugby player to train like the pros.
This camp will give youngsters an in-depth look at the following areas that are vital to high performance: strength and conditioning; nutrition; injury management; and rugby skills and games sessions.
Open to players of all abilities, the camp will provide new ideas and practices that youngsters can take back to their schools and clubs. A sample comment from one of the parents of an attendee at a recent camp said: "What a fantastic couple of days! The Elite Camp is a great step up for those who have some rugby experience and are interested in getting a taste of just how much more there is to being a professional sportsman."
"My son Joe, age 13, has attended several Bath Rugby camps and says this was the best so far," wrote another parent. "He really enjoyed the fun coaching activities by the excellent and friendly coaching staff and came home tired but motivated to improve further. Feedback from professional players on the second day was a real boost too. He's already asking about the next one. Thank you!"
