Calling all junior supporters - Join the Bath Rugby matchday team!

Have you ever wanted to be part of the Bath Rugby matchday team? Well this is your opportunity, as we host our first ever Junior Takeover for the Gallagher Premiership fixture between Bath Rugby and Leicester Tigers on Saturday 5th October.

If you’re aged between 6-11 years old, junior supporters can channel their inner Mini Kit Manager, Mini Team Manager, Mini Pitch Announcer and much more at the second home game of the season at the Rec. The junior supporters will shadow the existing Bath Rugby matchday delivery team throughout the busiest parts of their day.

The successful nine individuals will be at the centre of everything delivered at the Rec, but the cameras will be rolling throughout their day to ensure every part of their memorable day is captured. If your child is not camera shy and a huge Bath Rugby supporter, then this opportunity is definitely for them…

Mini Pitch Announcer  

A Mini PA announcer will address the crowd throughout the match, announcing the teams, confirming try-scorers and much more! With up to 14,500 supporters in the stadium, we’re looking for somebody with a big voice to deliver all of the important information to the crowd. 

Mini Operations Manager

The Mini Operations Manager is responsible for the stadium operations and safety. This person will have the best seat in the house (within our Control Room), approve sound tests and steward the first-team changing rooms!

Mini Kit Manager

A Mini Kit Manager is responsible for all the first-team kit, ensuring our players have everything they need to perform out on the pitch. A crucial role and an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes into the first-team changing room!

Mini Coach

A Mini Rugby Coach who is tasked with the coaching of all community groups. This person will also look after the Guard of Honour and half-time Tag sessions. This person needs to be someone that can motivate groups and being a big rugby supporter is a bonus. 

Mini Comms Assistant

A Mini Communications Assistant will help support creating social media content for the Bath Rugby channels throughout the day, including interviewing members of the first team. A crucial part of the matchday team, ensuring our entire supporter base around the country is kept up-to-date. 

Mini Matchday Experience Manager

A Mini Matchday Experience manager who ensures all fans attending the match enjoy themselves whilst at The Rec. From arranging player signing/Q&A and half-time entertainment to managing the big screen and PA content, whoever fills this role will have a very busy day!

Mini Groundstaff

The Mini Groundsperson will be responsible for the pitch at The Rec. We are looking for somebody to join the highly-skilled groundstaff tean, dedicated to providing the players with the best possible surface each weekend. Pitchforks at the ready!

Mini Team Manager

The Mini Team Manager is responsible for all requests and commitments of the first team players and a crucial member of the rugby staff each matchday. This person will have exclusive behind the scenes access including the opportunity to walk out of the tunnel after the first-team. 

Mini Shop Assistant

The Mini Shop Assistant is responsible for selling official merchandise at our retail unit based outside the stadium! Whether it’s selling a first-team shirt, flag or key ring, this mini member of the shop team will need to put on their sales charm for the afternoon.
