Bath Rugby is delighted to confirm that David Trick will remain the Club’s President for a third consecutive year.
Trick, who was previously President between 2011-13, replaced Mike Beese in the role in 2015 for a second term. During his time in the position, Trick has played a vital role in fundraising for the Bath Rugby Foundation, which has helped to transform the lives of countless young individuals living in the city.
One of the all-time greats to have worn the Blue, Black and White, Trick scored a Club record of 171 tries in 247 appearances in his 12 years as a player between 1979-1991.
Trick said: “I’ve been involved with Bath Rugby for nearly 40 years and there’s no better time to be involved in the Club. It’s a really exciting time on and off the field with the new stadium developments and I’m looking forward to the journey ahead.”
Managing Director, Tarquin McDonald, added: “Tricky has been a great servant to the Cub and Bath Rugby Foundation, and this extended term is a testament to the job that Tricky has done. He’s Bath through and through and not only a popular figure within the Club, but also the wider community. I am delighted that Tricky is continuing as President as we look forward to what promises to be an exciting season ahead.”
