Three things not to miss at the Rec

8 March 2018

Bath Rugby are back in action at the Rec tomorrow evening, as Northampton Saints visit the West Country for a match which will see one team progress to the Final of the Anglo-Welsh Cup at Kingsholm Stadium next weekend. Here are three things we think you should keep an eye out for…

There’s no place quite like the Rec under the floodlights, but with a chance of silverware at stake we want to add even more sparkle to the evening’s proceedings. Thousands of shimmering foil flags have been shipped in from Germany, and Sparks will (quite literally) fly, as the team make their way onto the pitch between fountains of pyrotechnics. Make sure you’re in your seat well ahead of kick-off to avoid missing this spectacle!

Like the Roman gladiators entered the arena to the beat of battle drums, look out for the drummers who will guide our players out. The team need us to stomp, clap, yell and Shout for Bath as they head into this all-or-nothing match. Warm up those vocal chords and get ready to bring the noise!

Do you have the kicking skills of Rhys Priestland or are you a budding Freddie Burns? Take part in our half-time kicking challenge for the chance to win two tickets to The Clash! Email to register your interest.

For a full rundown of everything going on in and around the Rec this Friday, check out our handy matchday page here.

Tickets are still available for this fixture with junior tickets just £5 and adults starting from £20 (£10 for Season Ticket Holders). To be there and get behind your team click here or call the Bath Rugby Ticket Office on 0844 448 1865.

Already have your tickets and traveling to Bath by car? A series of essential roadworks have started in Bath, so please make sure you leave additional time to get to the Rec.
