Saracens first up at home in 2017/18 season

7 July 2017

Bath Rugby will start their Aviva Premiership campaign with a trip to Welford Road on Sunday 3rd September to take on old rivals Leicester Tigers, before welcoming European Champions Saracens to the Recreation Ground on Saturday 9th September.

Both games, along with the following Friday’s visit to Franklin’s Gardens, will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

“We’re really excited by our opening fixtures,” said Bath Director of Rugby, Todd Blackadder. “To play three of last year’s top four in the opening five weeks is a really good challenge for us – we know we are going to have to hit the ground running and start really well to get our season underway in the way we want.”

Tickets for the first home game of the season against Saracens will be on sale to Season Ticket Holders on Monday 24th July, to Premium Members on Wednesday 26th July, to Members on Friday 28th July and on general sale on Wednesday 2nd August.

An epic family day out at Twickenham Stadium is in store on Saturday 7th April, when The Clash returns and rivalries are renewed between Bath and Leicester once more. More details will be released soon.

Fixtures have been confirmed up to and including Round 10 (which sees Bath head down the M5 to face reigning Aviva Premiership Champions and West Country rivals, Exeter Chiefs on Saturday 2nd December). All fixtures after this date are subject to change, with confirmation for kick-off day and time expected approximately 12 weeks before the fixture takes place.
