Get involved with the Bath Rugby Children’s Challenge

5 November 2013

Since its launch in the summer, plenty of our younger supporters have got involved with the Bath Rugby Children’s Challenge as part of our new Junior Membership Club.

The Children’s Challenge is part of a new initiative to inspire more children to lead fitter, healthier, more active lifestyles, and most importantly to have fun while they’re doing it!

Designed by the players themselves, the challenges are aimed at girls and boys aged up to 15. They can be done anywhere – at home, at school, and even at a Bath Rugby matchday.

The Bath Rugby Children’s challenges are:-

  • Sprint  50m as fast as Tom Biggs

  • Hula-Hoop longer than Dave Attwood

  • Do as many  “keepie-uppies” with a rugby ball as Matt Banahan

  • The Kyle Eastmond quick feet challenge

  • The Tom Heathcote kicking accuracy challenge

Participation in these challenges is absolutely free, you just need to be a member of the Junior Membership Club. To sign-up, visit the brand new dedicated site for Junior Members at www.bathrugby.com/jmc.

Every home game this season will see a different challenge run with prizes awarded for effort and top scorers.

At our next home game against Exeter Chiefs on Sunday 17th November, you can test your kicking skills with the Tom Heathcote kicking accuracy challenge. Running on the outfield prior to kick-off, why not pop along and give it a go?

You can save 30% when you buy a family ticket package (two adults, two children) for just £49.00 for this fixture, so it’s the perfect excuse to come along.

To purchase tickets click online, call 0844 448 1865 or visit the Ticket Office on Pulteney Bridge.
