Bath Rugby can confirm Fergus Lee-Warner has signed a short-term extension with the club.
The 29-year-old, who made a significant contribution to the Blue, Black and White in 2022/23, will remain with the club until the end of November before taking up a new opportunity back home in Australia.
“Fergus is an incredible human being and what he has produced for us this season has been brilliant,” Head of Rugby Johann van Graan said.
“He is such a great team man and has been very consistent with his performances. He has made a massive difference and I’m looking forward to him doing so again.”
Following the sad news relating to Worcester Warriors, Lee-Warner switched to The Rec in October and debuted for the club on the road at Saracens.
His first start saw van Graan’s men pick up their maiden away win of the season against Newcastle Falcons and the versatile forward then went on to appear in Europe for the first time.
A physical, athletic presence in the pack, he has made 16 outings for Bath to date.
Lee-Warner said: “I’m grateful for the opportunity Bath gave me and I thoroughly enjoyed my first season at the club. The boys were really welcoming, and I’ve loved every minute so far.
“The fans were amazing with me; I can’t wait to play in front of them a few more times and thank them for their support.
“There’s a bright future ahead for the club.”
