Over the past week, change has been afoot at both Farleigh House and the Rec courtesy of the fantastic work of Bath Rugby Official Technical AV & Digital Display Partner, Bendac Group.
Based close to Bath, the UK’s leading LED display solutions provider has boosted Bath Rugby’s technological needs with industry-leading displays installed at both locations.
Bendac’s engineering team spent two days at the Blue, Black and White’s training facility to supply and install a full turnkey solution with the aim of providing the optimal setting for the club to work in unison to achieve excellence both on and off the pitch.
The displays, situated in the Long Barn indoor training centre and the gym, will provide advanced technology to assist with training methodology, coaching, and gameplay analysis, as well as providing support and enhancements to the rehabilitation space, medical centre, and meeting space.
Heading eight miles on day three to the Rec, the Bendac team began work on two state-of-the-art MV displays. Following a highly successful installation of Bendac's COBi displays at Farleigh House, the second phase of the project saw the installation of large-format, external displays to replace the current on-site scoreboards.
Working alongside crane operators, Bendac spent the day decommissioning and removing the Rec’s old display modules, in preparation for brand-new replacements. The installation will enhance the matchday experience and highlights both Bath Rugby and Bendac's significant investment in fans and the sporting sector.
Work at the Rec will be finished ahead of Bath’s next Gallagher Premiership home match against Leicester Tigers on Saturday 19 February.
Alex Cohen, Bath Rugby Chief Operating Officer, said: “The work Bendac have undertaken at both Farleigh House and the Rec will transform both the day-to-day experience for players and staff as well as supporters on matchday.
“The quality of Bendac’s products and the installation process has been exceptional. We are extremely grateful to have the support and investment of a local partner and pioneers in their field.”
