Bath Rugby injury update

An injury update ahead of the club’s Gallagher Premiership match against Exeter Chiefs.

Ben Spencer, Tom de Glanville and Lewis Boyce

The trio are back in full training and available for selection for this Friday’s match against Exeter Chiefs.

Joe Simpson and Johannes Jonker

Both Joe and Johannes completed their progression through their individual Graduated Return To Play after suffering concussion against Harlequins and Wasps respectively. They are both back in training and available for selection.

Tom Doughty, Max Clark and Juan Schoeman

All three players are progressing well with their individual rehabilitation programmes under the supervision of the medical team. 

Taulupe Faletau

Taulupe is continuing his rehabilitation following an ankle injury sustained on his return from the British & Irish Lions. 

Cameron Redpath

Cameron is continuing with his conditioning progressions as he begins his return to rugby training. This is ahead of him returning to full training in late 2021.

Tian Schoeman, Joe Cokanasiga and Ethan Staddon 

All three players are continuing their respective rehabilitation following knee injuries. 

Jaco Coetzee

Jaco suffered an ankle injury against Gloucester in the Premiership Rugby Cup. He will undergo a review with a specialist to decide prognosis.

Anthony Watson and Beno Obano

Both players sustained long-term knee injuries in October. They are continuing their rehabilitation under the supervision of the medical team.
