Bath Rugby have been drawn in Pool 1 alongside defending champions Leinster Rugby, Wasps and Toulouse in next season's European Rugby Heineken Champions Cup, following the draw in Lausanne, Switzerland this afternoon.
Leinster completed a famous double last season, with a 15-12 victory over Racing 92 in Bilbao to win the Champions Cup, before defeating Scarlets in the PRO14 Final.
Toulouse finished third in the Top 14 last season, before losing in their Quarter-Final to eventual winners Castres. Bath played the French side in this competition back in 2014-15, which included a memorable 18-35 victory at the Stade Ernest-Wallon for the Blue, Black and White.
Joining Leinster and Toulouse in Bath's group is Wasps, who finished third in the Premiership last season before losing to Saracens in the Semi-Final.
Bath Rugby captain Matt Garvey said: "I think it’s a really exciting draw. There’s teams we’re quite familiar with – we’ve played Leinster a few times over the last couple of years, Wasps we prepare for each year and they’re always a tricky outfit to go up against. Then there’s Toulouse, who have been European giants for the last 10 years or so. We’ve got confidence, because in 2015, we went there and won.
"If you want to compete in the top competitions which this Club does, you know that there’s going to be no easy games, so you’ve got to test yourself against the very best. To play against the current Pro14 champions is a great test for us to see where we are as a Club. We don’t want to just win one trophy, we want to go on and win multiple titles, so to be the best, you’ve got to beat the best."
