Banish the January blues with the Blue, Black and White at the Rec this month!
Bath Rugby will host Pau and Gloucester Rugby in their first two home games of 2017 and tickets for both are on sale now.
Sitting top of Pool Four in the European Rugby Challenge Cup, Pau arrive for the final group game on Saturday 21st January, kick-off 15:00. Bath will be looking to inflict a second defeat on the French side in the competition and secure their place in the knock-out stages.
A try from Semesa Rokoduguni and 20 points from the boot of Rhys Priestland proved to be the difference as the Blue, Black and White held off a spirited Pau side 22-25. With a quarter-final spot on the line for Bath, it promises to be thrilling Saturday afternoon at the Rec.
Attention then turns to the Anglo-Welsh Cup and a home derby against Gloucester on Friday 27th January, kick-off 19:45. Bath secured local bragging rights in October with a 15-6 victory in the Aviva Premiership at Kingsholm, courtesy of tries from Anthony Watson and Matt Banahan, and will be looking to maintain that 100% record this season against the Cherry and Whites.
