Earlier this week, Bath Rugby’s Anthony Watson caught up with BBC Radio Bristol’s Geoff Twentyman on The Scrum.
The England international looked ahead to this weekend’s Challenge Cup semi-final against Montpellier.
“The opportunity to play in the final of a European competition is a game you don’t get too often as a professional, so everyone is massively excited and we want to put our best foot forward.
“It is a fine balance because it is important people understand the magnitude of the game, but it is important not to change how you prepare week-on-week too much because you still need to understand there are two posts and a bit of grass in the middle.
“All I really care about at this stage of my career is winning and winning a trophy, whether that is for Bath or England. I want to just make sure I win as much as I can and enjoy my rugby.”
