4 to watch:

Rob Harley – A consistently destructive presence at blindside flanker, Harley is one of the most prized talents in the Scottish game and recently delighted Warriors supporters by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until at least the end of May 2014. After impressing for West of Scotland and the Scotland under-20 team, Harley joined the Warriors fold last summer, and has since made the number six jersey his own with his outstanding consistency. He's one of 12 Warriors players to win selection to the Scotland squad for the forthcoming RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Al Kellock – The Warriors captain has long been a figurehead for the club, energising and inspiring teammates and supporters with his ultra-committed, unforgiving style. The leader of the Glasgow pack, not to mention its lineout, the 30-year-old led the team to the play-offs of the Magners League for the first time in 2010, and will be doing everything to repeat that feat in this season's RaboDirect PRO12. One of the most established and respected second rows in the European game, Kellock was picked to captain Scotland at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand last year.

Chris Fusaro – The openside flanker has been one of the revelations of the RaboDirect PRO12 and Heineken Cup season, winning recognition from a wide variety of sources for his unrelenting performances in the Warriors back row. The 22-year-old struggled to get game time last year, but was given an opportunity at the start of the current campaign and grabbed it with both hands, quickly making himself an integral part of the Glasgow front eight. To the relief of Warriors supporters, the club have acted quickly to secure his services on a long-term contract extension.

Tommy Seymour – Seymour joined the Warriors last summer from Ulster and has since won the affections of the club's fans with a series of enterprising displays. Blessed with a keen eye for the try-line and an explosive turn of pace, the winger has the raw materials to develop into a key performer for Sean Lineen. The 23-year-old has already added significantly to the competition for places in the Warriors back three, where the likes of Rory Lamont, Stuart Hogg, Federico Aramburu, Colin Shaw and Peter Murchie are all vying for a spot.
