Educated at Sherborne School, Carr-Smith has shown excellent desire to improve off the field demonstrating a real commitment to learn and ask questions to help him solve problems as a key decision maker.

His ability to do this whilst studying for his A Levels shows that he has the capacity to challenge himself outside of the game as well.

Carr-Smith has impressed throughout the 2019/20 season with some strong performances for school and Club. A tall and powerful scrum-half, Carr-Smith is a real physical presence that consistently asks questions of the opposition defences through his running game. He has scored and created a number of tries this year as a result.

The number nine has significantly improved his ability to manage games based on momentum through his effective kicking skills and putting pressure on the opposition backfield.
