Orlando Bailey

Position: Fly Half
Date of birth: 29 September 2001

Bailey is one of the most competitive and self-driven players we have in the Academy at Bath Rugby. His determination to improve and to learn as a player has helped him to develop some really positive problem-solving skills as a decision maker on the field. His game is built around his creativity, his ability to beat defenders, and to make space and find space with his running, passing and kicking game.

He is a young fly-half, with a lot of promise and potential. Bailey has developed his knowledge significantly during the course of the past few seasons, and he has grown his understanding and influence on the game, picking up lots of points as both a try scorer and goal kicker within the Gallagher Premiership U18 league.

His capacity to balance rugby, education, social and family life as a young man with plenty of commitments is a real credit to him, and a sign of his responsibility and maturity. This reflects the way he approaches the game, his preparation and development as an aspiring professional and his approach will continue to underpin his ongoing development.
