Ethan Staddon has been named on the bench for Hartpury University RFC in the Championship.
The 20-year-old, Bath Rugby’s youngest ever Premiership Rugby debutant, returned from a long-term injury in the Premiership Rugby Cup last season before featuring for England Under-20s in their Summer Series.
He will gain minutes for Hartpury who face Doncaster Knights at home on Saturday (kick-off 14:30) in Round 2. The Gloucestershire outfit kicked off their new season with a 33-22 victory over Caldy last weekend.
Head of Academy Craig Lilley said: “After a long period out with injury before a couple of outings at the backend of last season mainly in the England Under-20 Summer Series, it will be great for Ethan to gain some competitive minutes at Hartpury this weekend.
“As with all our young players, we want them to experience different environments and play as much senior rugby as they can to further their development.”
