Five Bath Rugby Academy players have been named in an England Under-17 Development Camp.
Henry Bartlett (Beechen Cliff & Dorchester RFC), Henry Bonetti (Millfield & West Combe Park RFC), James Linegar (Kingswood & Chippenham RFC), Leo Palmer (Kingswood & Walcot RFC) and Connor Treacey (Beechen Cliff & New Milton RFC) have all been selected for the camp which will take place at Bisham Abbey on Sunday 12 March.
The quintet are all included after an impressive season with Bath Under-18s where they contributed to a six-match winning run in 2023.
The news follows on from four players – Billy Sela, Ieuan Davies, George Timmins and Jack Bennett – being named in the first England Under-18s squad of 2023.
Head of Academy Craig Lilley said: “We are delighted that these lads have received recognition of their performances this year.
“All five players that have been picked have all played a significant part in this year’s Academy League and demonstrated signs of high potential.
“This camp will be another experience to learn from a different environment and is another opportunity to show they have the qualities required to play Under-18 international rugby.”
