David Denton joined Bath Rugby shortly after the commencement of the 2015/16 season.
The 25 year-old, who joined the Club from Edinburgh Rugby, has over 30 caps for Scotland – and notably started in their agonising one-point loss to Australia in the 2015 Rugby World Cup quarter-final.
Born in Zimbabwe, Denton played for Eastern Province in South Africa before moving to Scotland – the birthplace of his mother – to pursue his studies at Edinburgh University. Picked up by Edinburgh Rugby in 2010, Denton made 78 appearances for the Pro12 side, of which he started an impressive 74.
Standing at 6’5” and weighing close to 19 stone, Denton is a strong ball-carrying option and possesses an athleticism that saw him represent Scotland 7s prior to making his full international debut in 2011.
