Ross joined Bath Rugby in 2010, arriving from Rotherham Titans. He developed as a player in Newcastle's academy, making his first team debut in the 2006/07 season.
Originally a prop, the now athletic hooker converted to the No. 2 position whilst in the New Zealand International Rugby academy prior to going on loan to NPC provincial team Wairarapa Bush.
Ross' arrival at Bath bolstered Bath's already formidable front row. His athleticism and dynamism both in the loose and the set piece provides the coaches with greater strength in depth at hooker.
